  1. Develop collaborative relationships among key community participants, including corporate and civic leaders, retailers, bike industry representatives cycling clubs, transportation officials, neighborhood associations, as well as cyclists of all levels and abilities.
  2. Facilitate the adoption of cycling among the general population through community outreach, education and improved public relations.
  3. Increase public awareness of cyclists and their concerns.
  4. Educate cyclists of all ages on the necessity of safe cycling and pertinent traffic laws.
  5. Defend the rights of cyclist as legitimate operators of vehicles.
  6. Identify and communicating needed improvements in cycling infrastructure.
